Every cookie and browser-storage item this website uses, what each one is for, how long it lasts, and how to change your choice at any time.
The Full Inventory
This is the complete list, measured from what the site actually sets. Only the first three exist before you make a choice — none of them measure you. Everything below them appears only if you allow the matching category.
handle_cookie_consent
Local storage · strictly necessary

In Detail
“Cookies” is used here in the broad sense — it covers cookies and the similar technologies a modern website uses to remember things, including local storage and session storage.
That distinction matters: the three items this site sets by default are browser storage, not cookies. They are listed above anyway, because what they do is what a visitor actually wants to know.
Analytics on this site is consent-first, and the gate is real rather than cosmetic.
Before you choose, no tag manager and no measurement tag is loaded — the scripts are never requested.
If you accept, the tag manager loads and the tags inside it begin to measure your visit.
If you decline, nothing loads and no analytics cookie is ever set. There is nothing to switch off afterwards.
Your choice itself is remembered, which is the one thing stored either way.
The first three items in the table are set by this website itself. They carry no identifier, are not shared with anyone, and never leave your browser.
Your consent choice is strictly necessary — without it we could not honour the decision you made. The language and prompt items are functional: the site works without them, but it would forget your language on every page and repeat the same prompt.
With your consent, Handle uses Google Tag Manager to load a small set of measurement tags. They tell us which pages are read, how visitors move through the site and where they stop — in aggregate.
This is used to improve the site, not to build a profile of you, and the data is not sold or used for advertising. The tags that run in the container may change; this notice is updated when they do.
Two things reach a third party regardless of your cookie choice, because they are needed to deliver the page at all. Neither sets a cookie.
Fonts — the typefaces used across this site are served by Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers to fetch them on every page load, including before you make a choice. Google may log that request, including your IP address.
Hosting — this website is served by Vercel, which necessarily receives the request in order to answer it and keeps short-lived technical logs.
You can change your mind at any time, and it is as easy to withdraw consent as it was to give it.
Use the control immediately below this section. It clears the stored choice and brings the consent banner back, so you can decide again. Declining after having accepted stops any further measurement; storage already set by a tag can be removed with your browser’s controls.
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Deleting this site’s data will also remove your saved consent choice and language, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
This notice is updated whenever the storage or the tags this site uses change. The effective date at the foot of the page tells you which version you are reading.
