In Detail

Who We Are

Handle is an Execution Advisory firm based in Dubai. For the information described in this policy, Handle is the controller — the party that decides why and how it is used.

Handle — Execution Advisory, trade licence 1194394, Standard Chartered Tower, Emaar Square, Downtown, Dubai, UAE. Email info@handle.ae, telephone +971 4 313 2435.

In this policy, “Handle”, “we” and “us” mean that entity; “you” means any visitor to handle.ae.

What This Policy Covers

This policy covers the handle.ae website and the enquiries submitted through it. It does not cover everything Handle does.

Information handled inside a live client mandate is governed by that mandate’s engagement letter and confidentiality terms — not by this policy.

Separate Handle services reached from this site, including the ICV lab at labs.handle.ae, publish their own notices.

Third-party websites linked from here are outside our control and outside this policy.

How We Collect It

The table above lists every category. There are only three ways any of it reaches us.

Directly from you — when you complete the Initial Review form or contact us by email or telephone.

Automatically — technical data generated by your browser whenever any website is loaded.

Through analytics — and only after you have accepted cookies. If you decline, no analytics tool is loaded at all.

We do not buy personal data, and we do not build profiles from third-party sources.

Why We Use It, and on What Basis

We use personal information only for the purposes below. Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies, the GDPR, each purpose rests on a specific legal basis.

To read your enquiry, respond to it, and assess whether a mandate is appropriate — steps taken at your own request before any contract is entered into.

To operate, secure and maintain this website — our legitimate interest in running a safe and functioning service.

To understand how the site is used, in aggregate, and improve it — your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.

To meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations — compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects, and we do not sell it.

Cookies, Analytics and Browser Storage

Analytics on this site is consent-first. Nothing that measures your visit loads before you accept — and if you decline, the tag manager is never loaded and no analytics cookie is set.

The Cookies Notice lists every item this site stores in your browser, what each is for, how long it lasts, and how to change your choice.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. It reaches the following parties only, and only for the purpose stated.

Hosting and delivery — this website runs on Vercel, which serves the pages and keeps short-lived technical logs.

Enquiry routing — form submissions are delivered to the Handle team through our workflow platform. The connection is made server-side, and its credentials are never exposed to your browser.

Analytics — Google Tag Manager and the measurement tags it loads, only after you accept.

Fonts — Google Fonts serves the typefaces used across the site, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them.

Professional advisers and authorities — where disclosure is required by law, or is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

International Transfers

Handle is established in the United Arab Emirates. Some of the service providers above operate infrastructure outside the UAE, so your information may be processed in another country.

Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure an adequate level of protection travels with the information — including the contractual data-protection terms offered by each provider, and limiting what is transferred to what the purpose requires.

How Long We Keep It

We keep personal information only for as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, then delete or anonymise it.

Enquiries that lead to a mandate — kept for the life of that mandate and for the period afterwards required by law or by our professional obligations.

Enquiries that do not proceed — kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised.

Technical and security logs — retained briefly by our hosting provider under its own schedule.

Your cookie and language preferences — held in your own browser until you clear them or change your choice.

How We Protect It

No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but the measures below are in place and are the ones we consider appropriate to the information involved.

The site is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit.

Credentials for the enquiry-routing connection are held server-side as environment variables and never appear in the public JavaScript.

Access to submitted enquiries is limited to the Handle people who need it to respond.

Please do not send confidential, privileged or highly sensitive material through this website. Once a mandate begins, secure channels are provided for that.

Your Rights

Subject to the conditions and exemptions in the applicable law, you have the following rights over your personal information.

Access — ask what we hold about you and obtain a copy.

Correction — have inaccurate or incomplete information put right.

Erasure — ask us to delete information we no longer have a basis to keep.

Restriction and objection — ask us to stop or limit a particular use, including any based on legitimate interests.

Portability — receive the information you gave us in a structured, machine-readable form.

Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.

Complain — to the UAE Data Office, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EU or the UK.

To exercise any of these, email info@handle.ae with enough detail for us to find your record — the reference number shown after you submitted is the fastest route. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the period the applicable law allows.

Children

This website is directed at businesses and professionals. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes and Contact

We may update this policy as the website, the services behind it, or the law change. The effective date at the foot of this page always tells you which version you are reading.

Any privacy question, request or concern can be raised at info@handle.ae, or by post to Standard Chartered Tower, Emaar Square, Downtown, Dubai, UAE

Effective date and updates.

Version

This page is effective from 22 July 2026. It is reviewed periodically, and whenever the website changes how it handles information. Material changes are published here with a new effective date.
